The BOA Focus system is integrated with an articulated cuff and the combination allows for a snug fit that also allows movement without over stiffening the boots. The lower zone is controlled by the side mount reel and wraps the forefoot around the instep and ends at the articulated cuff. The upper zone is controlled by tongue reel and wraps your upper leg and crosses over the instep into the lower zone so it creates a nice even hold between the lower and upper zones.
